Critical acclaim followed when the Oxford Street restaurant was named in the top 100 best Asian restaurants at the Best in Britain Awards in 2006. Respected restaurant guide Hardens also gave its seal of approval by publishing in its 2006 guide that Kuti's Brasserie ‘deserved its reputation as one of the finest Indian restaurants in the UK’. In 2007 the restaurant was given The Best Bangladeshi Restaurant award in Britain by the Cobra Good Curry Awards.
On October 2018, the restaurant was nominated for 'Best New Restaurant' and 'Best Restaurant in the South East' at the respected Asian Curry Awards. In 2019, Kuti's Brasserie was nominated by our local MP Royston Smith to represent Southampton in the annual Tiffin Cup competition. Chef Ravi Rao and Kuti travelled to the House of Commons to cook for esteemed celebrity judges, and managed to beat every other top restaurant, making Kuti's Brasserie the Best Indian Restaurant in the UK.
